Saraya Claims She Doesn't Know If Mercedes Moné Will Be At AEW Dynamite

Amidst speculation about a potential AEW debut for Mercedes Moné, Saraya has claimed she doesn't know if the former Sasha Banks will be on the January 11 episode of Dynamite. 

Saraya said on DJ Whoo Kid's Shade 45 show: 

"I don't know. I wish I knew that. Even Meech, my manager, is constantly asking, and I'm like, 'I have no idea.' I asked Tony Khan like, 'What's the deal?' I would love to (face her) in AEW because I'm there. Tony has a good relationship with New Japan and he loves New Japan. Sasha, I texted her the other day just to be like, 'Congratulations.' She said that she was happy. I'm not starting any rumours with her."

Mercedes Moné had been a part of WWE for the past 10 years as Sasha Banks but she has since exited the company and made her New Japan Pro-Wrestling debut at Wrestle Kingdom 17 on January 4. Following this, a report from DAZN's Steven Muehlhausen noted Moné is set to be Saraya's tag team partner against Britt Baker and Jamie Hayter on the January 11 episode of Dynamite. Britt Baker even hinted at a Moné debut on last week's Dynamite but Saraya ultimately selected Toni Storm as her tag team partner. Dave Meltzer has also reported that Moné is not AEW-bound despite the tease on Dynamite.
