Tony Schiavone Praises Chris Jericho As A Great Leader Following Recent Losses

Schiavone praised Jericho for putting over other talent

AEW announcer Tony Schiavone has praised Chris Jericho's work in AEW, noting that he believes The Ocho is a great leader.

Discussing Jericho's work during a recent episode of his What Happened When podcast, Schiavone said:

"I have so much time for Chris Jericho. What a great leader he is. You know how I know he's a great leader? He did the job to Action Andretti. Did the job to Ricky Starks. That's a great leader. I'll show you how you can lose and still keep your heat".

As well as acting as an on-screen performer, the former AEW World Champion also serves as a producer and creative advisor, as well as a mentor to younger talent.

The 52-year-old signed a new deal with Tony Khan's promotion in October, keeping him All Elite through December 2025.

Though Jericho enjoyed a winning streak after winning the Ring of Honor World Champion at the September 21 Grand Slam episode of Dynamite, he has lost to Starks and Andretti (as well as dropping the ROH Title back to Claudio Castagnoli) within the past month.
