Saraya Returns To AEW Programming On Collision

Saraya is back in AEW

Saraya has been absent from AEW programming ever since she and Chris Jericho lost a mixed tag team match to Adan Cole and Britt Baker back at the end of last month, with little known about her whereabouts and the reason for her being off-screen throughout the course of June.

After Fightful Select reported yesterday that a return was imminent for the 30 year-old former WWE Divas Champion, she did in fact quickly make a comeback last night on an episode of AEW Collision. After NJPW Strong Women’s Champion Willow Nightingale successfully defeated Nyla Rose to advance in the Owen Hart Tournament, her opponent for AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door, the AEW World Champion Toni Storm, emerged with her Outcast buddies Saraya and Ruby Soho.

The trio attempted to surround and attack Nightingale before Skye Blue emerged with a steel chair in hand to save the day. Not much was made of Saraya’s return, meaning that AEW didn’t really see her absence as a significant one.
