Sasha Banks Changes Twitter Handle

Sasha Banks' future with WWE is once again uncertain and the multi-time women's champion has made a change on social media.

Banks' Twitter handle was previously @SashaBanksWWE but that was changed on Wednesday to @MercedesVarnado, her real name. Banks does still list 'Sasha Banks - WWE' in her Twitter bio alongside her character in The Mandalorian.

Banks has been off WWE TV since she and Naomi walked out ahead of the May 16 episode of Monday Night Raw over a creative dispute. They were then suspended and stripped of the Women's Tag Team Titles, with reports later noting that Banks and Naomi were no longer with the company.

It was believed the new WWE regime of Stephanie McMahon, Triple H, and Nick Khan planned to try and reconcile with Banks and Naomi and reports indicated the former Women's Tag Team Champions had agreed to return to the organisation.

Almost two months on from those reports, though, and Banks and Naomi have yet to resurface on WWE TV. Instead, Banks noted she was interested in pursuing a career in music, while Naomi was recently featured in an advert for Thor Love & Thunder.
