Scarlett Bordeaux Reveals How She Learned About WWE Release

Scarlett and Karrion Kross were released by WWE last month

Scarlett Bordeaux has revealed she got the call regarding her WWE release while fiancé Killer Kross was taking her to the airport.

Scarlett and Kross were both informed that WWE were activating their respective non-compete clauses in early November during a wave of departures from the promotion. Kross had only debuted on the main roster in July while Scarlett had not officially made the jump from NXT, and was not seen on WWE television since mid-2021.

While Bordeaux admits that shew as initially 'pretty p*ssed' about WWE's decision, that frustration quickly turned to excitement because of all the cool things she would now be able to do.

Speaking during a Virtual Meet & Greet with The Asylum Wrestling StoreSo, Scarlett said: "The night I got the call we were together and he [Kross] was actually dropping me off at the airport.

"My first reaction was pretty p*ssed because I was like, 'We're awesome.' That's how I felt. 'We're awesome. We got all the boxed marked off.' I'm confident in what we can do and what our worth is. But then I got really excited and confident. People compared the way I was typing on Twitter to a girl that had just been broken up with, like, 'I'm going to get super hot and successful and make you guys jealous,' and I felt like, hell yeah, let's do everything I want to do now and everything I wasn't allowed to do.

"I got to do a magazine cover that's coming up. All these photoshoots and signings and within two days my entire December was booked, so it went from being p*ssed to excited and not once did I cry. I thought that at least at one point I'd be really devastated but that has not happened once. I've just gone from p*ssed the first night to excited and happy."

Scarlett also noted that she had recently recorded an episode of Oral Sessions with Renee Paquette, in which she goes into more details regarding her and Kross' departure from WWE.
