Scorpio Sky has revealed he suffered a leg strain during Friday's episode of AEW Rampage from Ontario, California.

The TNT Champion defended his title against Dante Martin on the show and Sky announced he sustained the injury following the contest.

"I went into last nights match with my knee bothering me and unfortunately in the opening minutes I strained a muscle that goes from my knee up through my groin. My right leg was useless from then on. Despite that, wrestling in SoCal felt amazing even on one leg. Hopefully nothing serious and I'll be back to defend again soon," Sky tweeted.

There is no word on if Sky will miss any time following the injury.

The Men Of The Year member is currently in his second reign as TNT Champion, having defeated Sammy Guevara in a Ladder Match to regain the gold back on April 27. Sky has since successfully defended the title against former SCU faction-mate Frankie Kazarian and the aforementioned Dante Martin.
