Scott Steiner surprised by Steiner Maths longevity, but he knows the numbers don’t lie
Steiner Math. One of the most infamous pro wrestling promos of all time, and just saying its name will cause any wrestling fan to start cussing out Samoa Joe, and revealing how the numbers don’t lie, especially at Sacrifice.
The promo has become a certified meme and has on occasion crossed outside of the pro wrestling bubble, and Scott Steiner himself has admitted he’s surprised the promo lives on, saying the following to Denise Salcedo:
“I’m surprised it’s lasted this long, you know? People love it,” Steiner said. “Because that was just one of a long list of interviews that I did. I was just trying to be different, you know, and I was actually trying to entertain myself. And then when I got done, one take, you know, people liked it then and they still do now, to this day.”
Big Poppa Pump may be a former WCW World Heavyweight Champion, a WWE Hall of Famer, and a prominent member of the infamous NWO, but to many he’ll always be their favourite statistician.
