Scott Steiner Wrestles For First Time In 18 Months At Jerry Lawler's Wrestling Reunion

Steiner collapsed at an IMPACT taping in March 2020

Scott Steiner participated in his first wrestling match in over a year at Jerry Lawler’s Wrestling Reunion event this past weekend.

Steiner wrestled against Jerry 'The King' Lawler at the show on Saturday, held at the Fitzgerald’s Casino Event Center in Tunica, Mississippi, and was defeated by the WWE Hall of Famer. The end of the match came as Steiner was hit by a foreign object, allowing Lawler to get the pin and the victory.

In participating in the bout, Steiner returned to the ring for the first time in 18 months. The 59-year-old collapsed at an IMPACT Wrestling taping back in March 2020, requiring Steiner to be treated by medical personnel before being taken to hospital.

It was reported, in the aftermath, that Steiner underwent a heart procedure.

The event in Tunica permitted fans to meet-and-greet with current and former wrestlers such as Bill Dundee, Ricky Steamboat, Lex Luger, Sgt. Slaughter, Tommy Rich, Doug Gilbert, Dave Brown, Kurt Angle, Miranda Gordy, Thunder Rosa, among others.
