Seth Rollins Addresses CM Punk's WWE Return

Seth Rollins addressed CM Punk's return during a non-televised WWE live event

WWE World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins addressed CM Punk's return to the company during a non-televised live event in Peoria, Illinois on November 26.

After successfully defending his title against Drew McIntyre and Shinsuke Nakamura in the main event of the show, Rollins (who was greeted with 'CM Punk' chants) took the microphone and said:

"You already know how I feel about that, I said as much last night. I'm not going to waste any more breath on somebody who has been gone for eight years, has done nothing but try to tear this place down. Instead I wanna use my breath to talk about the people who have been here all along. That's everybody in the back who made WWE the hottest ticket in town. That's every single one of you here tonight!"

The 37-year-old had a notably animated reaction to the Straight-Edge Superstar's appearance at Survivor Series and was filmed hurling expletives and giving Punk the middle finger from ringside.

Fightful Select have reported that, while Seth legitimately doesn't like Punk and was 'visibly upset' when told of the former WWE Champion's return, most in the company believe he is wise enough to capitalise on that by working heavily.
