Shawn Michaels: This Is the Best Finn Bálor We Have Seen In WWE

Shawn Michaels has heaped praise on Finn Bálor, saying the WWE Universe is seeing the very best version of the Irishman that there has ever been. 

Bálor, since his return to NXT in 2019, has shown an aggressive confidence that has defined his current run, with the 39-year-old enjoying incredible matches with the likes of Adam Cole, Kyle O'Reilly and Johnny Gargano in the last 18 months, as well as winning the NXT Championship. 

Speaking ahead of Bálor's defence of his title, against Karrion Kross on Night Two of NXT TakeOver: Stand & Deliver on Wednesday evening, Michaels says the reigning champion is at the best he has ever been in the company. 

Speaking on WWE's The Bump, The Heartbreak Kid said: "Finn Bálor, to me, is the absolute best Finn Bálor has ever been. He is clicking on all cylinders to me. I think the world is getting to see the best version of Finn Bálor ever. He is so unbelievably complete.

"Look, if Karrion Kross manages to take down Finn Balor, clearly that would be impressive. I have always been a fan of Finn Balor's, but the last year [in WWE] he has just been so phenomenal and so guaranteed, that I don't know. It's hard to bet against him let's put it that way."
