Sheamus Debuts New Entrance Theme On WWE Raw

Sheamus didn't retain 'Written in My Face' for very long. 

Sheamus began using his old entrance music again upon his return in April 2024, with the popular song retaining its popularity as fans changed the lyrics to "too many limes" and "it's a shameful thing, lobster head." 

The former WWE Champion debuted new entrance music on the July 15 edition of Monday Night Raw, however. Gone is 'Written in My Face' and Sheamus made his way to the ring to generic-sounding music with undertones of Irish folk music, similar to the many WWE themes produced by Def Rebel. 

Fans on social media quipped that Sheamus had been "Def Rebel'd" as the reception to the new entrance music was mostly negative. It emerged back in April that WWE were "very aware" of the criticism that Def Rebel had received from fans. 

Sheamus was in action against Bronson Reed on Monday Night Raw and he ultimately scored the win. He didn't end the night on top, though, as Pete Dunne turned heel and laid out his former Brawling Brutes stablemate.
