Heel Turn Takes Place On WWE Raw

Heel turn on WWE Raw!

Pete Dunne is a heel once again on WWE TV. 

The 'Bruiserweight' had been a babyface in recent years but he completed a heel turn on the July 15 edition of Monday Night Raw, laying out Sheamus on the show from the Nutter Center in Dayton, Ohio. 

Sheamus, following the debut of his new entrance music, managed to defeat Bronson Reed on Monday Night Raw. Reed went to attack the former WWE Champion post-match, only for Pete Dunne to make the save with a Running Knee. Sheamus tried to thank Dunne following the save but the former Butch turned his back on Sheamus and exited the ring before charging back in when Sheamus had his back turned to attack his former Brawling Brutes faction match from behind. This ultimately left Sheamus on the mat and he was put away with a Tsunami by Bronson Reed as Pete Dunne simply watched on. 

Sheamus and Pete Dunne had mostly been apart on WWE programming for the past year, with Sheamus having previously quit the Brawling Brutes. They linked back up last week, though, after Sheamus made the save for Dunne, only for the former NXT Tag Team Champion to push Sheamus away when the 'Celtic Warrior' tried to embrace him. 

Pete Dunne was in a tag team with Tyler Bate, having reunited with his former British Strong Style stablemate in January 2024, but Bate is out of action for the foreseeable future due to a torn pec
