Skye Blue "Thankful" For Support After Fan Harassment At AEW Event

Skye Blue is overwhelmed by support she has received online after fan harassment incident

At AEW’s Dynamite & ROH tapings on Wednesday May 8, an incident occurred in which a fan was ejected from the arena after harassing wrestler Skye Blue with alleged inflammatory remarks that were reportedly “sexually-charged”. Referee Aubrey Edwards ensured security removed said fan, who was said to have been accompanied by a child.

A lot of support has been shared online for Skye Blue, who was at the receiving end of this abuse and harassment. In response, Blue has shown immense gratitude for those who have given her positive words in a post on X.

“I’m beyond overwhelmed with all the love and support. Thank you everyone you have no idea how much it’s appreciated. Let’s make sure the future generations of women wrestlers don’t have to deal with this sh*t.”

Skye Blue’s opponent in the match, Rachael Ellering, noted how the remarks were more vulgar than anything she had ever heard at an event in a post on X.

“The speed in which @RefAubrey and I got out of the ring last night post match to get this creep kicked out was remarkable. Olympic medalist speeds. I’ve NEVER in my career heard such vulgar things being said to talent during a match. Sexual harassment is not heckling.”
