In recent weeks, Big Bill has undergone a change in character direction as he became the first member of the new “Learning Tree”, being taken under the tutelage of FTW Champion Chris Jericho. This is a big change in pace for Big Bill, who less than two months ago was teaming up with Ricky Starks.

During a tournament to determine new AEW World Tag Team Champions in March, Starks picked up what looked like an injury which led to a change in plans as Starks & Bill were dumped out of the tournament by Top Flight. Ever since, Starks has been absent from television and Bill has taken a new path.

According to a report from Fightful Select, there are no current plans for them to reunite in AEW, and in fact after their run as AEW World Tag Team Champions came to an end at the hands of Sting & Darby Allin, there were no long-term goals for the duo as a team, and they were set to “move on to different projects” anyway.

Starks & Bill won the AEW World Tag Team Championships on the October 7 edition of Collision after a shocking squash win over FTR. They held the gold for 123 days. Starks recently revealed that he was not injured, but he has still not found a way back to TV as of yet.
