The closing moments of WWE's Bad Blood pay-per-view/premium live event featured a major moment as The Rock made his return to WWE TV, making his first appearance since the Raw after WrestleMania 40.

The Rock returned following the main event of Bad Blood which saw Cody Rhodes and Roman Reigns defeat Solo Sikoa and Jacob Fatu. Rhodes received a beatdown from The Bloodline post-match until Reigns and Jimmy Uso, who returned during the main event, made the save for the Undisputed WWE Champion.

The Rock then appeared, raised his eyebrow and signalled '1-2-3' with his fingers in a callback to him pinning Cody Rhodes in the main event of WrestleMania 40 night one.

Dwayne Johnson appears to be aligned with Solo Sikoa's Bloodline or Solo has at least considered the consequences of The Rock's return as he was recorded telling The Bloodline, "It's part of the plan" as he stood amongst the crowd in the closing moments of Bad Blood. Of course, it can't be ruled out that Solo Sikoa could be Dutch Van Der Linde-esque and simply be claiming The Rock's return is part of the plan, however.

The Rock cut a promo backstage following his Bad Blood return, saying there's been a "bunch of sh*t" going on for the past six months.
