Special Referee Added To Tag Team Title Match At WWE SummerSlam

Who will it be?

The Undisputed Tag Team title match pitting The Usos against The Street Profits at SummerSlam will have a special referee, though the identity of that referee is not yet known.

During a segment involving the two teams on Monday's Raw, R-Truth interrupted, attempting to score the refereeing gig. After R-Truth stated his case for the job, MVP and Omos came to the ring, with MVP talking up Omos' case. This led to Adam Pearce making a six-man tag between the Street Profits and R-Truth against the Usos and Omos for then and there.

The Usos retained their titles over The Street Profits in a well-received match at Money in the Bank on July 2.

The current card for the 2022 WWE SummerSlam, taking place Saturday, July 30 at Nissan Stadium in Nashville, is as follows:

* Undisputed WWE Universal/Last Man Standing: Roman Reigns (c) vs. Brock Lesnar

* Pat McAfee vs. Happy Corbin

* SmackDown Women's: Liv Morgan (c) vs. Ronda Rousey

* WWE United States: Bobby Lashley (c) vs. Theory

* WWE Tag Team: The Usos (c) vs. The Street Profits (there will be a special referee)
