Special Relationship Between Chris Jericho & Vince McMahon Detailed By Road Dogg
Chris Jericho had Vince McMahon’s ear, according to Road Dogg
Throughout the years, several wrestlers are said to have had a ‘special relationship’ with Vince McMahon, with the likes of Hulk Hogan, Shawn Michaels, and John Cena having had the ear of the former WWE Chairman.
According to Road Dogg, Chris Jericho also had a special relationship with McMahon, saying the following on the Oh You Didn’t Know podcast when discussing Jericho’s exit from WWE in 2018:
"I don't know exactly the inner workings," said Road Dogg. "Chris was one of those guys that had a very special relationship with Vince and so you didn't always know what went on behind closed doors that you weren't privy to."
Jericho’s WWE contract expired in 2018, with ‘Y2J’ making one last outing at the Greatest Royal Rumble in April, three months after making his New Japan debut against Kenny Omega at Wrestle Kingdom 12.
Road Dogg continued; "It was what it was. It shocked the wrestling world more than it shocked Vince McMahon. I can tell you that for 100%."
