[SPOILER] IMPACT X-Division Title Challenger At Victory Road Revealed

A legendary X-Division wrestler is back fighting for the title

The X-Division Championship match at Victory Road was revealed during IMPACT Wrestling's TV tapings on August 16.

The promotion is holding tapings at Skyway Studios from August 15 to August 17 and Josh Alexander has been busy so far, according to IMPACT Asylum.

The Walking Weapon faced off against Jake Something on August 15 in their X-Division Title Match at Emergence and the champion came away with the victory.

Alexander then announced an open challenge on August 16, which was answered by the returning Jake Crist. Alexander ultimately picked up the win and his Victory Road opponent was set during a post-match angle as Chris Sabin interrupted the champion.

Sabin ran down his accolades in IMPACT and challenged Alexander to an X-Division Title match at Victory Road. The Walking Weapon then accepted the challenge.

Alexander is currently in his first reign as X-Division Champion, having won the belt earlier this year at Rebellion. Chris Sabin is a legendary wrestler in the X-Division, having held the belt a record eight times between 2003 and 2014.
