SPOILER: Main Event Of IMPACT Under Siege Revealed

Steve Maclin's first defence of the IMPACT World Title has been revealed

Steve Maclin will have to face a former ROH World Champion in his first defence of the IMPACT World Championship, it has been revealed.

IMPACT Wrestling taped upcoming TV shows on Monday, April 17 in Toronto following Sunday night's Rebellion pay-per-view. Maclin defeated KUSHIDA to win the vacant IMPACT World Title before the former Forgotten Son attacked Scott D'Amore after he was presented with the title belt. This led to a staredown with new IMPACT signing Nick Aldis but The National Treasure won't be Maclin's first challenger.

Steve Maclin held a "changing of the guard" ceremony at Monday's taping, which soon caused an interruption from IMPACT President Scott D'Amore, who announced that if Maclin wants to face a Canadian, he will go one-on-one with PCO at the Under Siege IMPACT Plus special on Friday, May 26 in London, Ontario, Canada.

PCO then made his way to the ring and put people through a table to end the segment. The new programme continued later in the taping as Maclin called out PCO before the former ROH World Champion was attacked from behind by Shera and Champagne Singh. PCO then defeated Singh in singles action.

Having wrestled for the likes of WWE, WCW, and Ring of Honor during a career spanning over 35 years, PCO made his debut in IMPACT Wrestling as part of Honor No More in January 2022. The faction dissolved later in the year which led to a feud between PCO and Eddie Edwards. PCO ended up winning the programme, defeating Edwards in a Last Rites Match at Rebellion on Sunday.

PCO is under contract with IMPACT until October 31, 2023.
