WWE often hosts tapings for their X-exclusive Speed show ahead of WWE SmackDown events, and last night at the Fiserv Forum in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, a brand new champion was determined. Spoilers for upcoming editions of WWE Speed follow.

Andrade has been the reigning WWE Speed Champion ever since June of this year, defeating the inaugural titleholder Ricochet on the WWE Speed episode which aired on June 14. However, after several months holding the gold, Andrade has now been beaten. LWO member Dragon Lee defeated Andrade, ending his reign at 161 days (WWE’s records will recognise it as being 155 days).

This marks Dragon Lee’s first main roster championship, previously winning the North American Championship during his time spent on WWE’s developmental brand of NXT. It isn’t known when this episode of Speed will air, though they usually take place a week or so after they are taped. The first Women’s WWE Speed Champion was crowned in the last month, as Candice LeRae defeated Iyo Sky in the finals of a tournament on the October 9 episode of WWE Speed to become the inaugural champion.
