Spoiler On Former WWE World Champion Appearing In AAA

During a live episode of AAA TV from Merida, Mexico, AAA General Manager Rey Mysterio announced during a backstage interview that he was in negotiations with WWE to bring a former WWE world champion to AAA, with more set to be revealed next week.

The former WWE world champion debuting in AAA has already been revealed, though, as AAA taped two weeks of TV following the live episode. During the first taped episode, Damian Priest made his way to the ring as the surprise former world champion, with Priest cutting a promo about his plans to pursue AAA titles.

Damian Priest held the WWE World Heavyweight Championship for 118 days from his successful cash-in at WrestleMania 40 to SummerSlam, when he dropped the belt to Gunther.

Also taped for AAA was an NXT Women's Title match between Lola Vice and La Hiedra and the latest match between El Fiscal and Abismo Negro. Full spoilers, courtesy of False Finish:

• El Fiscal vs. Abismo Negro went to a no-contest after Los Perros del Mal attacked both men.
