SPOILER On New Title Match Official For AEW WrestleDream

New title match to be announced for AEW WrestleDream

A new title match was made official for the upcoming AEW WrestleDream pay-per-view during the special Rampage Grand Slam taping on Wednesday night at New York City's Arthur Ashe Stadium.

A number one contenders' match was held on the show that saw Vincent and Dutch of The Righteous take on Best Friends, The Hardys, and The Kingdom. After a back-and-forth match, it was Vincent and Dutch who picked up the win and they will challenge MJF and Adam Cole for the ROH World Tag Team Championships at WrestleDream. Rampage Grand Slam will air on Friday, September 22.

The WrestleDream match is currently up in the air, though, as Adam Cole suffered an injury during Dynamite Grand Slam and he was reportedly on crutches when leaving a hospital later in the evening.

MJF and Adam Cole have been ROH World Tag Team Champions since defeating Aussie Open for the belts at All In. MJF is also the reigning AEW World Champion.

WrestleDream will be held on October 1 at the Climate Pledge Arena in Seattle, Washington. Other matches announced for the show include Bryan Danielson vs. Zack Sabre Jr, Swerve Strickland vs. Hangman Page, and FTR vs. Aussie Open for the AEW World Tag Team Titles.
