Surprise WWE Royal Rumble Entrant Spoiled In Bizarre Way

Tama Tonga's enjoyment of shisha/hookah has resulted in a surprise WWE Royal Rumble entrant being spoiled.

WWE talents have been posting on social media since landing in Saudi Arabia ahead of the Royal Rumble. In one post to his Instagram Stories, Tama Tonga filmed himself smoking at a shisha bar, but he accidentally included an unmasked Mr. Iguana sitting in the background, ultimately confirming the Lucha Libre AAA Worldwide star is in the Middle East for the men's Royal Rumble match.

Confirmation of Mr. Iguana being in Saudi Arabia came after WrestleVotes Radio on Fightful Select reported the popular AAA talent was being discussed for the men's Royal Rumble. Should he end up working the match on Saturday, January 31, it will be Mr. Iguana's first ever Royal Rumble match.

Mr. Iguana has made several appearances on WWE TV since WWE and Fillip acquired AAA in 2025. His most recent appearance in WWE came at NXT Deadline where Iguana unsuccessfully challenged Ethan Page for the NXT North American Championship.

Iguana has also continued to perform at AAA events, most recently teaming with Niño Hamburguesa and La Parka against Los Vipers on the AAA on FOX premiere.
