Jane Grant's spokesperson Kendra Barkoff Lamy has released a statement addressing recent reports that Vince McMahon is set to launch a new entertainment company.

The statement reads:

"Both on and off the camera, Vince McMahon has built a reputation for his violent outbursts, sexual deviance, manipulation, and abuse. No one who cares about survivors and justice should want to work for or with any company of McMahon’s. He needs to be held accountable for the heinous acts he committed against Janel Grant and others at WWE". Per reports, McMahon is in the process of setting up an entertainment company based in Los Angeles that will develop and finance TV and film projects. The plan is for the company to launch if McMahon's myriad legal issues are resolved.

Grant's representatives had recently called for WWE to waive nondisclosure agreements that may be preventing current and former employees from speaking freely about abuse they have suffered within the company.

In an update, Lamy noted that WWE have yet to do so.

Grant's lawsuit against McMahon, John Laurinaitis and WWE is paused until December 11 while attorneys for the Southern District of New York investigate allegations of sex trafficking and sexual misconduct against McMahon stretching back to 1986.
