Stardom Dark Matches Set For NJPW Wrestle Grand Slam In MetLife Dome

Stardom stars will be in action

World Wonder Ring Stardom will have a presence on New Japan Pro-Wrestling's upcoming Wrestle Grand Slam in MetLife Dome shows.

NJPW will hold two shows at the baseball stadium on September 4 and September 5 and Stardom announced today they will hold dark matches on both nights of the major event.

No talent for the matches have been announced as of yet. The matches won't air on NJPW World like the rest of the event because of broadcast restrictions in Japan.

Stardom has held multiple dark matches at NJPW's dome shows since New Japan's parent company Bushiroad purchased the women's promotion in 2019.

Wrestle Kingdom 14 featured Mayu Iwatani and Arisa Hoshiki vs. Giulia and the late Hana Kimura. Three matches then took place at Wrestle Kingdom 15 one year later.

Several NJPW matches have already been set for Wrestle Grand Slam in MetLife Dome, including an IWGP World Heavyweight Title match between champion Shingo Takagi and EVIL, and Kazuchika Okada vs. Jeff Cobb II.
