Steve Austin: I Won’t Be At WWE WrestleMania 37

“I think they got their hands full with what they’re doing”

WWE Hall of Famer Stone Cold Steve Austin has revealed he won’t be a part of WWE WrestleMania 37.

Speaking to The Wrestling Inc. Daily, Austin revealed that he was sitting this year out, saying:

“They didn’t reach out to me this year,” Austin revealed. “I think they got their hands full with what they’re doing. I think it only makes sense for me to come back maybe in Texas or LA. It’d be great to go back to Dallas. So we’ll see what happens there, but I’m fine sitting at the house watching this one.

“We’ve been trying to move out of LA and move permanently over here to Nevada. So we’ve had a ton of stuff going on. I’ll be watching. I’m okay not being there.”

With WrestleMania 38 scheduled to take place in Texas, and WrestleMania 39 scheduled for Los Angeles, then perhaps we’ll see Stone Cold play a part at WrestleMania again in the not-too-distant future. WrestleMania 39 would also mark 25 years since Austin won his first WWE Title when he defeated Shawn Michaels at WrestleMania 14, so some sort of celebration could make sense.
