‘Stone Cold’ Steve Austin sensationally returned to the ring three years ago at WrestleMania 38, competing in his first match for 19 years as he defeated Kevin Owens in the Night One main event of the show. Ever since then, fans have speculated on when or if Austin will return for one more match.

Austin spoke on The Pat McAfee Show in the lead up to WrestleMania 41 weekend, noting that he can still whoop some ass, but he isn’t looking at wrestling again. He noted that he did get the itch to return here and there, but this hasn’t prompted an in-ring comeback.

“The time right now is for the younger generation. I leave it to them. I’m not looking to get back in the ring anytime in the future.”

Austin recently revealed some regrets about his return at WrestleMania 38, commenting on timing issues and not savouring the comeback as much as he would’ve liked to in hindsight. Like many WWE legends and big names, Austin is in Las Vegas for WrestleMania weekend, with his match with Bret Hart at WrestleMania 13 being the first ‘Immortal Moment’ to be inducted in the Hall Of Fame.
