Steve Blackman Makes Rare Appearance In WWE Vault YouTube Video
The Lethal Weapon in the wild!

Former WWE star Steve Blackman has resurfaced in a rare public appearance.
The Lethal Weapon popped up to introduce his WWE Hardcore Championship match with Shane McMahon from SummerSlam 2000, which was uploaded to the WWE Vault YouTube channel yesterday.
"Hey guys, this is Steve Blackman. I'm here to discuss my match with Shane from SummerSlam. That match was cool, I loved doing crazier stuff like that with the hardcore matches. And Shane was so hated at the time, again it was great getting great pops like that every time you hit him. When Test and Albert interfered it was a lot more fighting back, but I got to showcase my weapons. I used to love doing that stuff.
"And then obviously going up the TitanTron, I don't think the people were sure or unsure what was going on at that point. When I knocked Shane off, he dropped that whole distance and I came down and dropped an elbow on him - just a great pop. When you've got the people like that and they're popping, dying to see that happen, you know, it's just a great day. Hope you guys enjoy the match," Blackman said.
The six-time WWE Hardcore Champion briefly worked for the company in the late 1980s and then returned in 1997.
His WWE contract expired in October 2002, though Blackman had been sidelined with injuries for almost a year prior. He returned for a one-off appearance in a battle royal on Raw's 15th anniversary show in December 2007.
After retiring from wrestling, Blackman worked as a bail bondsman. The Rock is still a fan of the 61-year-old.
