Sting & Darby Allin Vs. Chris Jericho & Sammy Guevara Scheduled For AEW Dynamite

The programme between Sting and Chris Jericho continues

A major match has been announced for the June 28 edition of AEW Dynamite that will emanate from Hamilton, Ontario, Canada.

Chris Jericho interrupted the post-Forbidden Door media scrum from Sting and Darby Allin and challenged them to a Tornado Tag Team Match on this week's episode of Dynamite against himself and Sammy Guevara. Jericho made the challenge after smashing a bottle of water into a member of the press with his baseball bat. Tony Khan made the Tornado Tag official pending everyone is cleared to wrestle on Dynamite.

Chris Jericho and Sting have been feuding in recent weeks. They were on opposite sides at Forbidden Door on Sunday, June 25 as Sting, Darby Allin, and Tetsuya Naito defeated Chris Jericho, Sammy Guevara, and Minoru Suzuki. Sting's team scored the victory after Naito pinned Suzuki.

Also announced for AEW Dynamite is an Owen Hart Foundation tournament quarterfinal match between Ruby Soho and Britt Baker.

Elsewhere in the post-show scrum, Sting addressed his in-ring future and revealed he is unlikely to retire at AEW All In on August 27.
