Stipulation Added To The Young Bucks Vs. FTR At AEW Full Gear 2020

A stipulation that could affect the future of AEW...

At Full Gear, The Young Bucks will challenge FTR for the AEW World Tag Team Championship. Nick and Matt Jackson have been chomping at the bit to face the champions since before All Out and they finally earned a title shot on last week's Dynamite when they defeated Dark Order, Private Party and The Butcher & The Blade.

Both teams sat down for a joint interview this week with Excalibur to promote their pay-per-view match. The Bucks and FTR jawed back and forth throughout the segment and Matt Jackson explained he and his brother have a new attitude because Dax Harwood and Cash Wheeler helped them regain their killer instinct by manipulating The Elite. Excalibur then asked The Bucks a second consecutive question, causing FTR to walk out.

Before the segment ended, though, Matt Jackson revealed if The Young Bucks fail to win the AEW World Tag Team Championship at Full Gear, they will never challenge for the title again.

This is the second time a member of The Elite has invoked this stipulation at Full Gear. Cody said he would never challenge for the AEW World Title again if he failed to defeat Chris Jericho at last year's pay-per-view. The American Nightmare ultimately came up short after MJF threw in the towel and so far Cody has been true to his word.
