Tag Team Exits WWE

A tag team is gone from WWE

A tag team are no longer with WWE.

According to Dave Meltzer on Wrestling Observer Radio, Jagger Reid and Rip Fowler of The Dyad are gone from WWE. This was hinted at on the September 12 episode of NXT after Ava and Joe Gacy stated the Schism tree had turned rotten and changes needed to be made to the faction. Reid and Fowler have not wrestled on WWE TV since they lost a Steel Cage Match to the Creed Brothers on the August 29 edition of NXT.

"The other two... Rip Fowler and Jagger Reid are gone. Their contract is up, and I thought there was going to be some kind of angle or something, but it's just, they're gone," Meltzer said.

The Dyad asked for their releases from WWE earlier this year, a request that was rejected. Jagger Reid previously stated his WWE deal was set to expire on October 14, while Rip Fowler's contract was due to end on October 15. WWE may well have released the talents early but that has not been confirmed.

Reid and Fowler had been a part of WWE since 2018, initially debuting in the company as James Drake and Zack Gibson of Grizzled Young Veterans. They are former NXT UK Tag Team Champions.
