Edge Removed From Internal WWE SmackDown Roster

Edge no longer part of the internal WWE SmackDown roster

WWE Hall of Famer Edge is no longer listed as part of the internal WWE SmackDown roster, amidst plenty of rumour and speculation as to his future in the company.

A report from PWInsider Elite revealed that Edge is not listed as an active roster member for either SmackDown or Raw, but is internally listed on the WWE roster as a whole after being initially removed. Edge is not listed as an active TV talent, though.

The report states that Edge is instead listed as ‘miscellaneous talent’, a list for signed talent without an active role on TV, whether due to being injured, or just not actively performing on a regular basis. It’s believed that other names on this ‘miscellaneous’ list include Big E, Steve Austin, Titus O’Neil, Braun Strowman, and The Undertaker.

Edge has been heavily rumoured to be in line for a switch to All Elite Wrestling with the expiry of his current WWE deal coming up at the end of September, with many hoping the ‘Rated R-Superstar’ will reform his legendary tag team with Christian Cage - the current self-anointed AEW TNT Champion.
