Tag Team Title Open Challenge Set For WWE SmackDown

The new Undisputed WWE Tag Team Champions Cody Rhodes & Jey Uso are looking to further their momentum as titleholders by issuing out an open challenge.
Tonight’s “season premiere” of Friday Night SmackDown is looking to be a stacked show, featuring names such as the Chief Content Officer Triple H, Undisputed WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns, and multi-time world champion John Cena. Cody Rhodes & Jey Uso will be looking to add to proceedings by putting their titles on the line.
Don’t expect Pretty Deadly or the Brawling Brutes to answer the call, with them already in action on SmackDown, but other teams on the blue brand who could step up include The Street Profits, Latino World Order, Austin Theory & Grayson Waller, and The Bloodline. Rhodes & Uso are on the back of a big victory on Monday Night Raw, defeating former champions Sami Zayn & Kevin Owens in a big time clash between Raw’s four hottest babyfaces. They would win the titles at the Fastlane premium live event, defeating Damian Priest and Finn Balor of the Judgment Day.
