Tasha Steelz Provides Update Following Injury Scare At IMPACT TV Taping

No injury for Tasha Steelz

Tasha Steelz appeared to suffer an injury at Sunday's IMPACT TV taping in Poughkeepsie, New York, and the IMPACT Knockouts World Champion was said to be "out of it" during a tag team match with Savannah Evans against Rosemary and Havok.

Steelz's issue wasn't as severe as first feared, though, and WrestleZone have reported the 35-year-old left the TV taping under her own power and she won't miss any time.

She is scheduled to be in action at IMPACT's next tapings in Newport, Kentucky on May 7 and May 8 and the promotion announced on Thursday that Steelz will defend the Knockouts World Title against Havok at Under Siege.

Steelz also confirmed she is fine on Women's Wrestling Talk, saying: "I'm a bad ass, can't nothing or nobody hold me down!"

The former Fire 'N Flava member has been IMPACT Knockouts World Champion since she defeated Mickie James for the gold at Sacrifice on March 5. Her reign currently stands at 55 days and she has since retained the gold in a rematch against James and at Rebellion against Rosemary.
