Ronda Rousey Recalls Telling Becky Lynch Not To Insult Her Mother
Don’t mess with Ronda Rousey’s mother
Wrestling is oftentimes a family affair, you only have to look at current WWE to see father-son team Rey and Dominik Mysterio wrestling side-by-side, never mind the litany of generational bridging acts that have been featured on WWE TV throughout the years.
One person you will never see in a WWE ring though is Ronda Rousey’s mother former world judo championship gold medallist AnnMaria De Mars, with Rousey telling the Wives of Wrestling podcast:
“I think Trav [Browne] would be down, I think we would have a great time, we would love that,” Rousey said. “I think my mom might actually like haul off and beat the s*** out of somebody if they said something that p***** her off. Like, a 100 percent. I had to at one point tell Becky like, ‘hey Becky. I don’t think you can say anything else with my mom, because she might kill you if she sees you.’
“My mom literally said to me, she was like, ‘these people might pay you to put up with this kind of s***, no one’s paying me, if anyone says s*** about me, and I see them in person, I’m going to break their f****** arm.’”
