Tegan Nox made her long-awaited return from injury on Tuesday's WWE NXT The Great American Bash, and immediately played a huge part in a shake-up of the women's division.

Nox appeared towards the end of The Way's NXT Women's Tag Team Championship defence against Io Shirai and Zoey Stark. As the match drew to its conclusion, the battery that has been seen charging up in recent vignettes on NXT reached 100 per cent, leading to Nox walking out onto The Great American Bash stage.

Her arrival caused a distraction for Candice LeRae and Indi Hartwell, leading to Stark taking down the latter and pinning her to claim the NXT Women's Tag Team Titles.

As the match finished, Nox would storm the ring and attack LeRae, chasing her through the Capitol Wrestling Center as she sought retribution for the injury that took her out almost ten months ago.

Nox has not been seen on NXT since September and hasn't competed since August due to an ACL injury. She underwent surgery a month later and was written off television courtesy of a backstage attack on her leg by LeRae.

Nox wrestled her first match since returning from injury on Monday, in a dark match ahead of WWE Raw against Toni Storm.
