Tesco Offer To Sponsor NJPW's Zack Sabre Jr. Following Debut Of 'Tesco Meal Deal' Submission

Another new finisher from ZSJ

New Japan Pro-Wrestling's Zack Sabre Jr. has a penchant for creative finisher names and the IWGP Heavyweight Tag Team Champion already has Orienteering With Napalm Death, Hurrah! Another Year, Surely This Shall Be Better Than The Last; The Inexorable March Of Progress Shall Lead Us All To Happiness, and Barry From EastEnders in his arsenal.

Zack debuted a new submission finisher during yesterday's G1 Climax 31 match against Yujiro Takahashi and Sabre Jr. forced The Tokyo Pimp to submit to the Tesco Meal Deal.

The new finisher could lead to a new sponsorship opportunity for Sabre Jr. as British supermarket Tesco offered to sponsor the NJPW star following the move's debut.

After Zack's G1 match concluded yesterday, NJPW Commentator Chris Charlton, tweeted: "ZSJ's finish tonight was called the Tesco Meal Deal and I think he *might* be taking the p*ss by now. #g131."

Tesco quickly noticed the new development and replied to Charlton with the eyes emoji. Then, after a fan suggested Tesco sponsor ZSJ, the supermarket replied: "What do you think @zacksabrejr?"

The Tesco meal deal is a popular lunch option for British people, giving customers the option to purchase a range of sandwiches, wraps and salads with a packet of crisps or chocolate and a drink for £3.
