Tessa Blanchard Believed To Have Signed With TNA
TNA believed to have signed Tessa Blanchard
Dec 13, 2024
Never say never in wrestling, and over four years since being fired by TNA Wrestling it seems as though Tessa Blanchard could be returning to the company.
The controversial third-generation star left TNA (then IMPACT) in 2020, with the promotion terminating her contract when Blanchard allegedly failed to send video materials to hype an upcoming match at Slammiversary, nor was available to wrestle. Blanchard was the reigning TNA World Champion at the time.
Per a report in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter by Dave Meltzer, Blanchard is believed to have signed a new deal with the company, and is expected to work a programme with Jordynne Grace ahead of Grace’s expected exit from the company at the expiration of her deal.
Blanchard is currently one-half of the CMLL Women’s Tag Team Champions with Lluvia, but has been absent from the promotion for the last few weeks. Lluvia was asked in an interview who her best tag partner has been, with Lluvia answering Jarochita, seemingly suggesting that Blanchard is all but gone from the promotion.
Tessa’s father Tully Blanchard revealed in September that Tessa had resumed studies alongside her pro-wrestling commitments. Whether the TNA audience or indeed the locker room will react warmly to the former TNA World Champion returning remains to be seen, with Tessa having been accused of racism and bullying by her peers.
