The Butcher & The Blade Still With AEW Despite The Bunny's Exit
Contrary to speculation, The Butcher and The Blade are still with AEW.
The Bunny may no longer be All Elite, but The Butcher and The Blade remain with Tony Khan's promotion.
After some speculation that they had also left AEW, Kimmy Sokol noted on X that the tag team are still with the company, writing:
"Guys I just talked to Butcher and Blade's agent, he has confirmed that they are still with AEW do not believe any other report that says they aren't".
Fightful Select subsequently backed up Sokol's account.
It was confirmed last week that The Bunny had left the company. The 36-year-old signed with AEW in March 2019 and mainly served as the manager of The Butcher and The Blade.
She also competed in the AEW women's division, however, with her last in-ring appearance being in a six-woman tag team match on the September 8 edition of Rampage (taped September 6). It was only her third match of 2023.
The Butcher and The Blade, meanwhile, last teamed (alongside Kip Sabian) on the October 4 episode of Dynamite. They made their AEW debut in November 2019.
