The Creed Brothers Banished From WWE NXT

The Creed Brothers are gone from WWE NXT

After two years in the developmental brand, the Creed Brothers have been banished from WWE NXT.

Brutus and Julius Creed faced The Dyad on the July 4 edition of WWE NXT TV in a Loser Leaves NXT Match. The stipulation immediately fuelled speculation that Rip Fowler and Jagger Reid would be on their way out of NXT but it was the Creed Brothers who lost.

The finish came after a masked figure in a red hood headbutted Julius Creed on the apron while the referee was distracted. This allowed Rip Fowler and Jagger Reid to take advantage as they connected with a Double Codebreaker before Fowler pinned Julius for the victory.

What the future holds for the Creed Brothers is unknown but WWE higher-ups are said to be high on both Julius and Brutus so they could be heading to either Monday Night Raw or Friday Night SmackDown. That has not been confirmed, though, and Dave Meltzer reported in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter last week that WWE officials were keeping quiet about the Creed Brothers' futures.

Regardless of Tuesday's result, The Dyad still look set to leave WWE NXT, with the former Grizzled Young Veterans revealing earlier this year that their contracts expire in October 2023.
