The Good Brothers To Face The Briscoes At IMPACT Multiverse Of Matches
GBs vs. ‘Dem Boys’ for the first time since 2016
IMPACT Wrestling have announced a cross-promotional match will take place at thei ‘Multiverse of Matches’ event at WrestleCon, as IMPACT World Tag team Champion The Good Brothers will take on ROH World Tag Team Champions The Briscoes.
IMPACT made the announcement on Twitter, posting the following:
“BREAKING! @IMPACTWRESTLING presents Multiverse of Matches Friday April 1st from @wrestlecon! Featuring @IMPACTWRESTLING World Tag Team Champions The Good Brothers vs The Briscoe Brothers! @ringofhonor”
The two teams have fought only three times during their careers, wrestling in 2014, 2015, and 2016 during the ROH/NJPW crossover partnership. In traditional tag team bouts the teams are tied one apiece, whilst The Briscoes also tasted victory when teaming with Roderick Strong and War Machine against Bullet Club at Global Wars 2015.
It’ll be a busy day for the team of Jay and Mark Briscoe, as after taking on the Good Brothers, they will head to Ring of Honor’s return show Supercard of Honor XV, where ‘Dem Boys’ will put the titles on the line against an as yet un-named set of opponents.
