The Hardy Boyz Vs. reDRagon In AEW Teased By Kyle O'Reilly, Matt Hardy

reDRagon vs. Hardy Boyz in 2022?

Could a potential dream tag team match take place in 2022?

While Kyle O'Reilly and Bobby Fish continued to team together for much of their WWE runs as part of The Undisputed ERA, the friends wrestled as reDRagon for the first time since 2017 on Wednesday's 'New Year's Smash' edition of Dynamite, teaming with Adam Cole against Best Friends and Orange Cassidy.

Fish and O'Reilly ultimately picked up the win for their team with Chasing the Dragon, and in a tweet following the match, Matt Hardy revealed he and brother Jeff had always wanted to face reDRagon.

"Gotta be honest - It was great to hear the team name of 'reDRagon' & the finisher 'Chasing the Dragon' on #AEWDynamite tonight.. @theBobbyFish & @KORcombat are HUGE pickups for @AEW. It's a team that @JEFFHARDYBRAND & I always wanted to wrestle against," Matt tweeted.

Kyle O'Reilly also appeared to be keen on facing the Hardy Boyz, as he replied: "This is rad. It would be an honor to wrestle the Hardy Boyz. #aewdynamite."

If reDRagon vs. The Hardy Boyz will ever take place ultimately remains to be seen, although Jeff is currently a free agent following his WWE release and Matt recently said there was no better place for one last Hardy Boyz run than All Elite Wrestling.
