The Judgment Day Appear On NXT
NXT welcomed The Judgment Day into their midst
Not content with being one of the biggest heel groups on WWE’s main roster, the judgment Day made their way to NXT, with the core of Finn Balor, Damian Priest, Rhea Ripley, and Dominik Mysterio making their presence felt on the July 11 edition of NXT TV.
Judgment Day were challenged to appear on the show by NXT Champion Carmelo Hayes and Trick Williams, with the NXT faithful welcoming back Balor, priest, and Ripley with cheers, whilst soundly booing Mysterio.
Balor and Priest would go on to face Carmelo and Trick in tag action in the night’s main event, with Priest threatening to cash in his newly won Money in the Bank briefcase on the NXT Champion. However, new number one contender Ilja Dragunov prevented Priest from using the case on Hayes, but this allowed Balor to capitalise on the chaos and hit a Coup de Grace on Hayes for the win.
Judgment Day are not just one-and-done on NXT though, as Dominik Mysterio will face North American Champion Wes Lee for the title on the July 18 edition of NXT, the winner going on to defend against Mustafa Ali at the Great American Bash.
