The Rock & Roman Reigns Will Appear On WWE SmackDown Next Week

WWE have announced that The Rock & Roman Reigns will be on SmackDown next week

On the heels of a chaotic and newsworthy WWE WrestleMania 40 Kickoff in Las Vegas, neither The Rock or Roman Reigns were present on last night’s episode of Friday Night SmackDown to address what went on and their seemingly newfound allegiance with one another. At the Kickoff event, The Rock looked to have turned heel for the first time since his days as “Hollywood Rock” in the early 2000s, slapping Cody Rhodes after his main event with Roman Reigns was taken away from him.

In the aftermath, he told Triple H to “fix it”, mixing in his fair share of expletives. Triple H responded to this on SmackDown last night, stating that some people (The Rock) “don’t know their role” and are trying to exert authority that they do not have. He ended things by saying there is one decision-maker in WWE, and that is himself.

It was announced later in the night that both the Undisputed WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns and The Rock would be in attendance for WWE SmackDown next week, which sees a double taping take place due to WWE superstars being away in Perth, Australia the week after that for the Elimination Chamber premium live event. It isn’t known whether Reigns & Rock are set to appear on both episodes.
