The Rock 'Headstrong' About Facing Roman Reigns At WWE WrestleMania
The Rock has his eyes set on a WrestleMania match with Roman Reigns
Following The Rock’s recent return to WWE programming in which he teased targeting Roman Reigns, and with the news of him becoming a member of the TKO Board Of Directors, speculation has skyrocketed when it comes to the potential “dream match” between The Rock and Roman Reigns. Right now, it isn’t known when or where this match is happening, but a report from Dave Meltzer in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter has indicated that the most likely setting would be WrestleMania.
Although The Rock has not signed a deal to compete in WWE, a WWE source has revealed that The Rock is willing and wanting to do a match with Roman Reigns. There were supposedly some suggestions of The Rock wrestling at Saudi Arabia to generate more money, but The Rock has his eyes set on WrestleMania, as “one person in the company noted that Johnson was ‘headstrong’ about wrestling Reigns at WrestleMania”.
The Rock did touch on this topic in an interview with ESPN First Take following his arrival in TKO, stating that a WrestleMania main event between himself and Roman Reigns would be huge.
