"The Rumors Are True" - Andrade Confirms Request For WWE Release

The former NXT Champion took to social media

Andrade has seemingly confirmed on social media that he has asked for his release from WWE.

It was reported at the end of last week that the former United States Champion had requested to be let out of his contract with WWE, something that it appeared the promotion had denied.

The 31-year-old has now taken to Twitter to confirm the reports and, while he no idea what his future holds, he wants to make his dreams come true.

Andrade wrote: "The rumors are true and I don’t know what the future holds but I want to make my dreams come true. thank you for giving me so much support these last days."

Andrade has not been seen on WWE television since a quick loss to former teammate Angel Garza on Raw in October. The former NXT Champion's fiancée, Charlotte Flair, says she has pitched ideas to WWE creative to work with Andrade, but it seems the company have no plans to utilise him going forward.

The Mexican wrestler removed all mention of WWE from his social media platforms last Friday too.
