The Young Bucks Clarify AEW Contract Extensions

Under contract until 2024

The Young Bucks have clarified their recent AEW contract extensions.

A report from Dave Meltzer in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter on Friday noted that Matt and Nick Jackson had signed two-year extensions with All Elite Wrestling that would keep them with the promotion until at least 2026.

In an update, though, The Young Bucks clarified on their Twitter bio that their two-year extensions mean they are under contract until 2024. The tag team originally signed with AEW through January 1, 2022.

They wrote: "Till 2024. Let's party for 2 more years!"

The Young Bucks are currently on the shelf in AEW following the SuperKliq's loss to Jurassic Express and Christian Cage. Nick Jackson was dealing with a heel injury heading into the pay-per-view and the problem is said to have worsened since the Falls Count Anywhere Match. Matt Jackson also suffered a Con-Chair-To from Jungle Boy and the older Young Buck said on Being The Elite that his neck was bothering him.

Matt and Nick Jackson are two of the founding members of All Elite Wrestling. The contractual status of other founding members Cody Rhodes and Kenny Omega remains unclear but AEW are reportedly hopeful of signing them to new deals
