The Young Bucks: One Day We'll Wrestle The New Day
It seems that the AEW Tag Champs are willing another match into existence
The Young Bucks are at it again. After famously teasing a match with FTR/The Revival when the latter were under the WWE’s umbrella, Matt and Nick Jackson are seemingly hoping that lightning will strike twice, by claiming they will one day wrestle The New Day.
Taking to Twitter, The Bucks changed their bio to read: One day we’ll wrestle New Day & everyone will rejoice. Remember this bio.
It all stems from a recent WWE house show, where NWA Champion Milwaukee Bucks’ Bobby Portis got in the ring with some of the superstars, leading New Day's Xavier Woods to Tweet that the group finally got to get in the ring with "the bucks.”
The Young Bucks famously Tweeted "One day we’ll wrestle The Revival & everyone will rejoice. Remember this." In 2018, with Dax Harwood replying in kind. Since then, FTR left WWE and made their way to AEW, where the two teams fought over the AEW World Tag Team Championship.
The New Day are in a much stronger position than The Revival ever were in WWE so a match is unlikely at best. But with all of WWE’s recent shocking releases, never say never.
