Three Championship Matches Booked For Next Week's SmackDown

Next week’s episode of Friday Night SmackDown is set to take place in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, just one night before the 2025 Night Of Champions premium live event. On a special “Night Of Champions” themed episode of the blue brand, three titles will be on the line across the show, marking a notable card.

Firstly, Tiffany Stratton and Nia Jax will continue their feud, which has been ongoing since back at the start of the year when Stratton cashed in her Money In The Bank contract and dethroned Jax to become the WWE Women’s Champion. They met in a promo segment on last night’s episode of SmackDown, agreeing to a Last Woman Standing match to settle their score for good. Expect to see Naomi lingering over this contest as the current Money In The Bank contract holder. 

After setting their sights on the SmackDown tag team division, the Wyatt Sicks pairing of Dexter Lumis & Joe Gacy will finally get their title match, stepping up to face Montez Ford & Angelo Dawkins of The Street Profits for the WWE Tag Team Championships. Lastly, after several weeks of build up and rising tensions, Zelina Vega will defend her Women’s United States Championship against Giulia. 

On SmackDown last night, WWE also announced Jacob Fatu vs. Solo Sikoa for the United States Championship, though this will take place on the Night Of Champions PLE itself.
