Three Matches Added To Impact Bound For Glory
Including two title bouts
Three matches have been added to Impact Wrestling's Bound For Glory, including two title bouts.
AEW's Frankie Kazarian will challenge for the X Division title currently held by Mike Bailey. Kazarian won a 9-person "Revolver" gauntlet match at Friday's Victory Road in order to earn the title match.
During his years with Impact, Kazarian held the X Division title on five occasions.
The Knockouts Tag Team titles will be at stake as Deonna Purrazzo and Chelsea Green defend the belts against Taya Valkyrie and Jessicka. The four women were involved in a brawl during Friday's Victory Road to set up the match.
In addition, Mickie James goes one on one with Mia Yim. James is intent on challenging for the Knockouts title, and has vowed to retire if she loses any match up to then.
The current card for Impact Wrestling Bound For Glory, taking place Friday, October 7 at the Washington Avenue Armory in Albany, NY, includes the following:
* Impact World: Josh Alexander (c) vs. Eddie Edwards
* Impact Knockouts: Jordynne Grace (c) vs. Masha Slamovich
* Impact World Tag Team: Matt Taven and Mike Bennett (c) vs. The Motor City Machine Guns
* Impact X Division: Mike Bailey (c) vs. Frankie Kazarian
* Impact Knockouts Tag Team: Deonna Purrazzo & Chelsea Green (c) vs. Taya Valkyrie and Jessicka
* Mickie James vs. Mia Yim (if James loses, she will retire)
